About Reiki
Reiki is the science and art of activating, directing and applying natural, universal life energy to promote energy balancing and healing. Reiki healing is used for relaxation, stress relief, and to "recharge your batteries". Reiki also aids in the preparation for and recovery from surgery. It supports mind, body and spirit. This energy is accessible to anyone to utilize at any time. By channeling Chi, or universal healing energy, the Reiki healer allows the healing energy to go where it is most needed in the body, through the placement of hands on the body. Reiki belongs to what is called energy medicine because it works with subtle energies of the body. When these energies are imbalanced or depleted, illness can occur. Energy medicine is gaining popularity and credibility in hospitals and other health care institutions. Presently, they are incorporating Reiki into the total care of their patients.
Reiki Classes
Reiki I Classes, Saturday June 8, 2013
In Reiki I, you are given attunements that connect you to the Chi, or universal healing energy. Upon receiving these attunements, you are brought into direct contact with the source of Chi and you become a channel for the healing energy. Adjustment to the Reiki I attunement can take three to four weeks, while the healer's body adjusts to the increasing capacity to channel the healing energy.
The cost for this class is $125.00. The class meets at the L.O.V.E. Institute Sunday, October 7, 2012 9:00am – 1:00pm.

Reiki II Classes,
March 2013 (Stay tuned for specific date)
In second degree Reiki, you will receive attunements that greatly increase the amount of healing energy you can channel. You will learn three powerful, precise healing symbols and how to use them. As you use these symbols, you will gain the capacity to heal mental, emotional, and past life issues and to heal from a distance. This capacity opens psychic abilities, and psychic growth is one of the results of becoming a Reiki II healer. To take this course, you must have taken the Reiki I class.
The cost for this class is $150.00. The class meets at the L.O.V.E. Institute
Sunday, October 28th, 2012 9 - 2pm.

Reiki III Classes
Saturday, May 11, 2013 - 9:00-1:00
Reiki III is the most exciting part of this very amazing healing system. It is divided into two sections: the Reiki III Practitioner and the Master/Teacher's Degree. In Reiki III, you will receive an attunement to spiritual level energy; this particular attunement results in your own spiritual healing. You will experience a further increase in your ability to channel healing energy, and your healing ability will reach a higher level. To take this course, you must have taken both Reiki I and Reiki II and be able to demonstrate proficiency at both of those levels.
The cost for this class is $250.00. The class meets at the L.O.V.E. Institute Sunday, November 11, 2012.
